Has an employee in your organisation been accused of inappropriate behaviour or an integrity breach? Two Ears can provide an independent support adviser who offers care, support and information.

Independent support after an accusation. Being accused can have a major impact on an employee, whether or not the accusation is justified and whether or not a formal complaint has been made. They may face uncertainty, stress and questions about the process and its possible consequences.

For the accused employee, the support adviser plays a role similar to that of the confidential counsellor for the person who raised the concern. The employee has a confidential place to tell their side of the story and get support. Two Ears can provide an independent support adviser for this.

What does a support adviser do?

The support adviser listens and supports the employee throughout the process, and explains the possible next steps, rights and responsibilities. This includes:

  • care and emotional support;
  • information about the process and possible next steps;
  • preparing for conversations within the organisation;
  • help dealing with the impact of the accusation;
  • support in returning to work and rebuilding working relationships once the process is over.

The employee stays in control and decides which steps are right for them.

Who is this for?

This service is for organisations that want to offer independent support to an employee accused of inappropriate behaviour or an integrity breach.

Two Ears provides support advisers both for existing clients and for organisations that don't yet work with us.
